I've always loved Mary Higgins Clark!
There story begins with a quarrel between Nell McDermot with her husband, Adam Cauliff regarding her plan to embark on a political career just like her grandfather Congressman McDermot.
Later that day Adam was blown into pieces with three others on his boat while holding a meeting. As the investigation went on, Nell learns that it was not an accident but a bomb.
The story then entwined with bribery and rigging in the business and problems regarding the election. Nell is trying to help the police department to find the truth about her husband with the help of a medium.
She then realize that something dark about her husband after 3 years marrying him.
Note : Kalau baca buku my favourite genre (thriller/investigation), sekejap je habis baca. I'm looking for more of her books. ^_^
